Ram V (Ramnarayan Venkatesan) is an Indian comic book writer whose work spans independent, DC, and Marvel comics. He earned acclaim for creator-owned books including These Savage Shores, The Many Deaths of Laila Starr, and the Eisner-winning Blue in Green. At DC he wrote a celebrated Detective Comics run with artist Rafael Albuquerque, along with Swamp Thing, Justice League Dark, and Catwoman. His writing favors literary, mythic, and atmospheric storytelling.
