Following Darkseid's death in Absolute Power, cosmic reverberations awaken latent powers in a mysterious child on Earth. Metron delivers a prophecy that throws New Genesis and Apokolips into chaos. Scott Free and Big Barda, now parents to daughter Olivia "Liv" Free, race against Orion to find this child, uncertain whether the new god will be the universe's savior or reincarnation of its greatest evil.
Ram V incorporates Hindu mythology, particularly the Kalki story and the Chiranjivi, into Jack Kirby's Fourth World mythology.
