Biography
Ken Akamatsu is a Japanese manga artist best known for Love Hina and Negima! Magister Negi Magi, both serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. Love Hina earned him the 25th Kodansha Manga Award in 2001. He later founded Manga Library Z, a free digital platform for out-of-print manga, and was elected to Japan's House of Councillors in 2022.
