Biography

Joe Sabino is an American comics letterer from New Jersey. He joined Marvel Comics as a temp in the production department and spent two years in the Bullpen before getting the opportunity to train under letterer Chris Eliopoulos in the Virtual Calligraphy group.

Sabino's first lettering credit at Marvel was Runaways #12 in 2008. Since then he has lettered thousands of Marvel issues across a wide range of titles, including Thor: God of Thunder, Spider-Man/Deadpool, Hawkeye, Thunderbolts, and numerous event series. All of his work is produced digitally using Adobe Illustrator. He is one of the most frequently credited letterers in Marvel's current publishing lineup.
