Biography

Jock is the pen name of Scottish comics artist Mark Simpson, born in East Kilbride. He began working in comics in 1999 for 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine before building a career at DC and Vertigo. His most notable works include The Losers with writer Andy Diggle, Batman: The Black Mirror, Green Arrow: Year One, and the Image series Wytches with Scott Snyder. He is a three-time New York Times bestselling artist and an Eisner Award nominee.
