The Spirou anthology dated February 28, 1957 carries ongoing chapters of Spirou et Fantasio, Lucky Luke, Johan et Pirlouit, Buck Danny, Gil Jourdan, and Jerry Spring. The issue also presents the first appearance of an enigmatic unnamed figure at the Spirou editorial offices, in a silent strip by André Franquin that introduced the character who became Gaston Lagaffe.
