Batman: Dark Patterns (2024)

This gripping twelve issue mystery series follows a young, still forming Batman tackling bizarre and deeply disturbing cases across early Gotham City. Each three-issue arc features a standalone detective thriller steeped in Gotham’s creeping psychological horror and noir grit.

First arc ("We Are Wounded") centers on The Wound Man, a grotesque serial killer who tortures victims with near-lethal embedded objects testing Batman’s moral code and investigative limits.

Second arc introduces Mr. Scarface in an innovative twist: a housing project monster whose eerie presence adaopted as a building forces Batman into a claustrophobic rescue and conspiracy unraveling that touches on class warfare and city corruption.
