Chris Eliopoulos
Biography
Chris Eliopoulos is an Eisner Award-winning letterer, cartoonist, and children's book author/illustrator. He began his career at Marvel Comics after graduating from college, spending over a decade as a staff letterer where he worked on hundreds of titles including Savage Dragon, Desperate Times, and Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius, which he also wrote and drew. His lettering credits span major runs such as Hawkeye (2012) and numerous Avengers and X-Men series. Beyond comics, Eliopoulos illustrates Brad Meltzer's bestselling Ordinary People Change the World children's book series, which has grown to over 30 volumes and was adapted into the PBS Kids animated series Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum. He has authored and illustrated his own books including Cosmic Commandos, Monster Mayhem, The Yawns Are Coming!, The Giggles Are Coming!, A Little Emotional, and The Imaginoodles. Influenced by Charles Schulz and Bill Watterson, his cartooning style is known for its warmth and accessibility. He works digitally using Clip Studio Paint on a Cintiq.
