Out of the Deep Woods

Out of the Deep Woods is the opening story arc of Jeff Lemire's Sweet Tooth series from Vertigo Comics. The arc introduces Gus, a young boy with deer-like features, who emerges from isolation in the wilderness after his father's death. Gus encounters the mysterious Jepperd and begins his journey through a post-apocalyptic America ravaged by plague.
