Year Two

Published in 1987, Year Two is a Batman story arc written by Mike W. Barr with art by Alan Davis, Todd McFarlane, and others. This storyline appeared in Detective Comics issues #575-578 as a sequel to Batman: Year One.

Year Two follows Batman's early career as he faces the Reaper, a vigilante with a lethal approach to crime-fighting that challenges Batman's own moral code. The story involves Batman grappling with the legacy of his parents' murder and his relationship with Joe Chill, the man who killed them.
