SHOC

At Empire State University, Peter Parker and a student are working on a research project tied to the late Professor Fields when Crown attacks, taking scientists hostage and demanding Fields' notes and control of the professor's unstable energy generator, threatening to let it overload. Spider-Man responds, but the fight shifts when a figure in powered armor arrives on the scene. Revealed through flashback to be Todd Fields, the professor's own son, SHOC has been waiting years for exactly this moment. Together they drive Crown away. First appearances of both SHOC and Crown.
