Kaine has taken Mary Jane underground, and Peter Parker is frantically searching the city for her. Ben Reilly catches up and insists on joining the hunt, knowing more about Kaine's patterns than Peter does. In the caves beneath Manhattan, Mary Jane tries to get Kaine talking and quietly activates a spider-tracer hidden in her necklace. Above ground, Peter and Ben pick up the signal, though Peter's fury threatens to override any tactical thinking as the two Spider-Men descend into the tunnels together. Written by Howard Mackie, art by Tom Lyle.
