1981-A Flash Odyssey

A double-sized 25th anniversary issue in which Abra Kadabra traps Barry Allen inside an elaborate deception: Barry wakes in a private clinic, paralyzed, with a psychiatrist working to convince him that his entire life as the Flash was a trauma-induced fantasy. Working through his memories -- his origin, his rogues, his years alongside Jay Garrick and Wally West -- Barry holds onto his identity. The scheme collapses on a logical flaw: the existence of Professor Zoom proves the Flash must be real. Written by Cary Bates, art by Carmine Infantino.
